Where I am

This is a mobile blog mission. Seems to be OK thus far. Look at this punctuation!

I sit in a midtown starbucks contemplating the wonder that is, Stevie, while watching the rest of the tables enjoy their cups and devices. The usual scene for me in the past year actually, music selection included.

See I've been lost..., in a world all my own based solely on learning. For a time I wanted to learn strictly through the medium of a significant other and the saturation of people and places. I simply have realigned myself since leaving those relationships and feel as though I've emerged better for having gone through them, although I no longer keep such a high frequency of contact with them, and not to diminish their significance either.

Sorry... Sidetracked by greatness..

I want to communicate to you the reader, and really everyone else I will come in "contact" with for the forseeable future is that, "hey, I actually feel ok, maybe even great, and you know what?that's EXACTLY how I should feel!" too many people diminish others' happiness because they cannot have it for themselves. Suuuuuuuuuuuch a bummer!

I love being me and listening to stevie wonder all the time and staying in on the weekends to write record and play simcity. So there!

Call this the ebb to my past flow...

well i WAS blogging on my former projects myspace....

hello. how are you? are you at work reading this? perhaps in the comfort of your own home or apartment. i myself am at "work" though, my real work lies within these lines here as well as in digitized sound (for now).

i am writing to wish you a very pleasant february. in fact, it is my most favorite month for a number a reasons. one being my day of birth, another being black history month, another being that cupid birthday or whatever...

but also i am writing you to let you in on a little secret...

i will have many new tunes for you very soon! a new project awaits and i hope you will embrace what i have created, as you have done so graciously before.

if you have no idea what i'm talking about you probably don't know i'm a musician, but that will definitely change VERY soon.

i also read an article on the founder of lsd this morning. no, i haven't tripped (lay off), i thought it was well written and really opened my eyes a bit to the drug and its founder. he wasn't condoning morons and their usage of lsd for entertainment. he used it to embrace nature is a very spiritual way. really awesome stuff.

and yeah, that jaime lidell song is really positive. great to hear the vintage soul still coming around. thanks mark ronson.

I normally would pass this off as some NYC region drama if I weren't living in the city currently, but seriously! its the anniversary of the LA riots of '92! 

Now, I am in now way a cop and never will be (no offense cops). But I would imagine firing 50 shots at someone must be caused by some serious drama. obviously, i will never know the details of this incident, but the parallels cannot be ignored! 

i happened to be reading the wikipedia entry on the la riots last night while sitting at a moderately enjoyable theatre event put on by this "college" i went to for a "time." in the wiki, it said that the media coverage for the riots was extensive but also included outraged interviews on the streets, which obv must've ignited the riots further. it was stated that further coverage on the riots was skewed to be of less violent nature.

the city is awesome, under statement of the 20th century, but, it is way quicker and easy getting to work than the jerz.
